I'm an award-winning Creative that brings stories to life through photography, videography, and design.

I live in Gateshead with my partner and my dog, Oonagh.

I have a Masters in Creative Arts Practice from Newcastle University’s Culture Lab (2015-16). My undergraduate degree was a Combined Honours in Contemporary Music and Sociology (2012-2015).

I’ve worked at Newcastle University since 2018.

Between 2018 and 2022 I was Digital Content Creator for Open Lab. I documented PhD research projects, created print and digital materials for workshops. I was fortunate enough to work with some amazing partners, such as Nexus (on Metro Futures), International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Barnado’s, and more!

Since then I’ve been working in the Student Life team where I edit newsletters sent to all students, upload content onto student noticeboards, create graphics for display around campus (print and digital), support student-led content and co-produce content with students.

I am Adobe Certified Professional in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere. This was a great achievement because I’ve been tooling around in Photoshop since CS2, back in 2005, so it was nice to be professionally recognised almost 20 years later…

These days a lot of my work is done in Canva, and that suits me just fine.
